Program Areas

As a grantmaking and operating foundation, the Hogg Foundation for Mental Health accomplishes its mission through the funding of external and internal projects in strategically selected areas.

The Foundation operates major initiatives in three priority areas: Integrated Health Care, Cultural Competence, and Workforce Development.

When key opportunities arise, the Foundation also pursues internally or externally executed projects on timely topics, such as Seclusion and Restraint Reduction and tracking of the 80th Legislative Session.

The Foundation archives key information and resources from a selection of its past projects, including School Discipline and Special Education.

Funds available through the Foundation's major initiatives and projects are distributed through a Request for Proposals (RFP) process. (Please see Funding Opportunities for more information.) Please note that the Foundation does not accept unsolicited grant proposals on any topic.
