| When will the conference be held? The conference will take place on Wednesday, April 3 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Check-in starts at 8:00 a.m. and the program starts at 9:00 a.m. |
| Where will the conference take place? The conference location is the Bayou City Event Center, 9401 Knight Road, Houston TX 77045. |
| Where do I park and is there a fee? Free surface lot parking will be available outside the event venue. |
| Will lunch be provided and is there a fee for lunch? A complimentary lunch will be provided to registered attendees. |
| Will childcare be available? Childcare will not be provided. |
| Will continuing education credits be provided at the conference? Marriage and family therapists, professional counselors and social workers will be eligible to receive free continuing education units (CEUs). |
| Is there a conference hotel or hotels nearby if I plan to stay overnight? We did not set up a conference hotel as the majority of the conference participants live in the Houston area. View a search done for nearby hotels. We do not endorse or recommend any hotel or website. It is the attendees responsibility to make hotel reservations if needed and pay any related fees. |
| Will there be exhibit space available to display information about my organization? Resource tables will be available in the entrance for organizations and agencies to provide informational and educational materials such as brochures and newsletters. Please email Vicky Coffee-Fletcher at vicky.coffee-fletcher@austin.utexas.edu as soon as possible if you would like to provide information. |
| Are there scholarships or stipends available to assist me with traveling to the conference? No. The conference is free, but no stipends, scholarships or travel funds are available. |
| Is there a limit to the number of staff who can attend from one agency or organization? There is no limit to the number of staff who can attend from one agency, but space is limited. Registration is free and on a first-come, first-served basis. |

| When is the last day to register for the conference? Registration closes on March 15, 2013 or upon reaching capacity (400). A waiting list will be developed if necessary. We recommend that you register as soon as possible in order to secure your place. |

Space is limited and your timely notification will afford others the opportunity to attend. | I don’t live or work in the Houston area. Can I still attend the conference? Yes, the conference is free to anyone in Texas who is interested in learning more about the mental health needs of children, youth and their families. |
